St. John’s School
This is the only English Medium School in the Village of Paschim Kalikapur. The School is equipped with necessary infrastructural facilities with Classroom, Staff Room, Computer Lab and Principal’s Office. Also there is a big playground for extracurricular activities and sports etc.
Relief Support
The recent natural disaster, amid pandemic situation affected the life of rural people of Sundarban area worstly. This efforts is to support them through dry food distribution, tripol distribution to help the poor, needy people who are facing hardships
Health Programme
Free health check-up camps have been organized every year. These health camps aim at promoting health seeking behaviour in the long term and thus, unlike a general curative health camp, these camps also majorly work on building awareness regarding common ailments, nutrition and hygiene and sanitation.
Clinic
This clinic is opened daily to provide health check up services, referral services to women & children and the persons belonging to backward communities of Paschim Kalikapur area and surroundings.
St. John’s Study and Day Care Centre
This centre is running for the children of the backward communities where they have provided Hot Meals in the evening, Tuition and care. The location of this centre is at St. Michael’s School Compound, Village – Sarenga, Bankura.
Celebration of Notable Days
In order to spread the message and awareness the organization every year observes the different Notable days with some guests, experts, social workers and youth for the betterment of the society.
Skill Training
We are running Training programme on Woolen & Cotton Bag making, Zari Work, Beautician, Pisciculture, Kitchen Garden and Tailoring. These trainings provide appropriate skill development training programmes in the high demand services. As also Tailoring Machine and equipment distributed among the trainees.
Construction of Sanitation
We are working on construction of Sanitation for the poor household and raising awareness on health & hygiene.
Blood Donation Camp
The members and youths of the locality have come forward to organize this Blood Donation Programme effectively and to encourage the Blood donors for their benevolent donation through blood to save a life
Rural Library
The organization has been running a library where the students, adult education learners and community members are taking the privilege to read the books according to their interest. The students, youths are using the library for their studies.
